How to become an ECDL Test Centre

Schools, Institutions and organisations experienced in educating IT users can be certified as an ECDL Test Centre.

To get accredited, a future Test Centre has to conform to certain requirements: rooms, exam facilities and the examiner's education have to meet a set of internationally standardized minimum requirements:

  • The examination rooms have to meet the generally accepted standards and legal regulations. Focused learning with the computer must be guaranteed through noise protection, adequate ventilation, ideal lighting and enough space between the workstations.
  • The soft- and hardware for the exams must meet minimum requirements. The candidates must have easy access to the required applications.
  • There have to be at least two teachers certified as ECDL testers: They have the skills needed for all seven Core Modules and, if necessary, the Advanced Modules and they are familiar with the ECDL evaluation guidelines.

If you meet these requirements, apply through our contact form!
