ICDL/ECDL Image Editing is the first international provider independent certificate to verify basic skills in image porcessing. The test can be taken at all ECDL Image Editing test centres in German-speaking Switzerland and the Principality of Liechtenstein.
All ECDL exams must be taken at an authorised ECDL Test Center, where you can buy a so called Skills Card beforehand.
To obtain an ECDL Image Editing certificate your theoretical and practical knowledge is tested in 45 multiple choice and hotspot questions. The exam is passed if you have answered at least 75% of the questions correctly within 45 minutes. The hotspot questions use the freeware Gimp 2.8. The test is available in English and German.
To prepare for the test we suggest you take the diagnostic test first, which covers all the syllbus points and gives you feedback on which topics you are proficient in and which need further studying.
